PRIMARY DEMAND BANK A/C CHANGE BEFORE ONLINE SALARY AT FALAKATA

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 7th August, 2015: The Government has stepped up the process of introducing the salary payment system of all the Government employees in the state. In line with that policy the work of primary school teacher’s online form fill up is going on. However, this has met with hurdles especially in Falakata region. Primary teachers are demanding to transfer all of their salary account to any nationalized bank. Till now their salary account is being held by Kshetriya Grameen Bank. According to the teachers they are facing huge problems in maintaining their salary account in Grameen Bank especially because the concerned bank is devoid of providing many facilities which the nationalized banks are providing to their customers. The main demand by the primary teachers is demanding to firstly, transfer their salary to any nationalized bank then to introduce the online payment of salary to them. Various political and non political primary teachers union is demanding this in similar lines irrespective of their political background. Primary teachers like Debabrata Basak, Anirban Roy, Pradip De Sarkar said “We are facing huge problems in operating account in Grameen Bank. Even the updating of pass book requires one day in the Grameen bank. Day by day the services of Grameen Bank are going down”. The School Inspector of Falakata Mr. N. D. Bhutia said “I am doing whatever my department is instructing me to do”. Mr. Dharitri Mohan Roy, Chairman of Jalpaiguri District Primary Education Council said “I have not received any complaint regarding the project problem. No prayers of transfering of bank account have reached us. However, if the complaint comes I will see to it”.
